The TL-SG1008 8-Port Gigabit Switch is a rack-mounted desktop switch that allows you to easily increase Ethernet bandwidth for Gigabit connections. Each of the 8 ports of the device has an automatic MDI/MDIX crossover function, allowing for quick installation of the device without the need to check the type of cables used. In addition, TL-SG1008 is environmentally friendly as it uses innovative technology to reduce power consumption.

The next-generation switch TL-SG1008 uses technology to increase network bandwidth with high energy savings. The device automatically adjusts the power consumption depending on the connection status and cable length, taking care of the protection of the natural environment. The device complies with the European RoHS directive, limiting the use of equipment made of environmentally hazardous materials. In addition, most of the packaging of the product is suitable for new processing.
High performance
TL-SG1008 uses a non-blocking architecture and a switching performance of 96Gb/s for maximum data transfer efficiency. The 8K MAC address array provides the ability to use the device in large networks. Support for IEEE802.3x bandwidth control for full duplex transmission and backpressure function for half-duplex transmission ensures smooth network traffic and reliable data transmission.
Simple operation
The switch's automatic functions make installation hassle-free and no configuration required. With MDI/MDIX, there is no need for crossover cables or uplink ports. Auto-negotiation detects the speed of the connected device (10, 100 or 1000Mbps) on each port for the best transmission performance. The desktop enclosure allows the device to be located in places where there is not much free space, also allowing convenient and safe installation of the switch in the rack. LEDs inform about the status of the device and allow diagnostics of simple problems.
