Ubiquiti USW-PRO-24-POE is a switch adapted to UniFi networks, it belongs to the new Gen2 family. It is equipped with 24 gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 SFP+ slots (1 / 10 Gbps), 16 Ethernet ports have a PoE 802.3af/at power output, and the remaining 8 Ethernet ports have a PoE 802.3bt power output. The output power per port is 32 W in 802.3af/at or 64 W in 802.3bt. The maximum total power output of the power supply is 400 W. The modern 802.3bt standard allows you to connect devices requiring high power supply via PoE. USW-PRO-24-POE has a built-in AC adapter and an additional connector for connecting Ubiquiti USP-RPS. The second connector serves as a backup DC power supply, it is used in case of failure of the main connection.
The offered product has been designed for use in the UniFi network. Its configuration is done from the level of the centralized management system UniFi Controller, the same as used in access points and cameras. This gives you the opportunity to unify your network and simplify its management. The switch supports Layer2 features such as VLAN configuration, 802.1X CONTROL, RADIUS VLAN and spanning tree. Each port can be switched, mirrored or aggregated. In future versions of the software, the manufacturer is to add Layer3 functionality, including inter-VLAN routing, static routing and DHCP server.
