TP-LINK EAP225 Indoor AC1350 Wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit
TP-Link EAP225 is an access point compatible with EAP Controller software. It is equipped with a gigabit Ethernet port, allows the transmission of WiFi wireless network in two bands simultaneously - 2.4 and 5 GHz. Supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac standards. The total maximum theoretical wireless bandwidth is 1317 Mbps - 450 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps in the 5 GHz band. Built-in antennas have an energy gain of 4 dBi (2.4 GHz) / 5 dBi (5 GHz). An additional advantage is the MU-MIMO technology that allows simultaneous sending and receiving data from many connected devices, which significantly improves the operation of the wireless network.
The EAP Controller software allows you to centrally manage multiple access points. It makes it much easier to set up an extensive network, even in multiple sites. It enables, among others, remote software updates on connected devices, real-time monitoring of work or wireless network planning by visualizing the range. It also allows you to create a unique hotspot welcome page and introduce various types of authentication. The software is completely free.
EAP225 has been designed for installation on the ceiling, the kit includes suitable mounting elements. Power is via Passive Or 802.3af PoE. A power supply with passive PoE is included.
